The Information Security Architect (ISA) is directly reporting to the Global Operations & CIO Hub Lead of Allianz Technology Spain and to the Regional ISO (Ireland, UK, BENL, France, Spain, Italy, Africa…) and works closely with the Local ISO and architects of the branches. The ISA, part of the IS team in Barcelona, delivers IS related services to French branch, and provides respective control assurance for all services Allianz Technology provides to its customers.

You will: 

• Ensuring that security and business requirements are adequately addressed in aspects of Allianz architecture, by:
  • Ensuring the information security architecture strategy is in line with the company's overall strategy and contributing to the principles of the global security model;
  • Advising on the use and combination of existing security bricks;
  • Contributing to the implementation of the company's cybersecurity program;
  • Building and maintaining synergies and strong interaction with the OpSec, architecture, IT functions.
• Supporting risk management activities in:
  • Analyzing security requirements and carrying out a security risk analysis for the project;
  • Defining additional security measures to address the risks;
  • Contributing to the qualification of residual security risks prior to deployment;
  • Analyzing the security risks associated with the introduction of new technologies or information systems;
  • Report any risks of interest to the LISO.
• Establishing a secure by design methodology by:
  • Checking that the proposed technical and functional solutions meet the identified security requirements;
  • Supporting project managers in designing the architecture, specifying the various parameters and defining the technical security requirements for integrating new systems or upgrading existing systems;
  • Advising on the choice of technical solutions and recommend secure architectures;
  • Initiate assessments, tests or audits relating to IS security.

Your skills: 

• English fluent
• Good knowledge in Enterprise Architecture, technology awareness (i.e. Cloud, AI...)
• Experienced in conducting risk assessments
• Experienced in Security frameworks
• Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as consulting, communication and collaboration skills with autonomy
• French is a plus but not mandatory
• An understanding of the three lines of defense model and relationship of the InfoSec with other control functions
• Methodical and structured approach
• InfoSec certification (international / local) is a plus
• Proven experience of using the COBIT control framework is a plus
