Senior US Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Remote Chicago
The US Insurance market is regulated by each states Department of Insurance policies and procedures. The main focus of this role is to support the business functions in meeting these requirements through routine quality assurance processes, supporting projects and consultancy services as subject matter expert in the US Regulatory Reporting domain. AGCS is currently embarking on a multi-year program to replace many of our legacy systems and migrating the business onto new platforms. The US Regulatory Statutory Reporting is being migrated to Verisk Analytics (formally ISO). As a result, mapping our new systems to the various State Plans is in various stages of completion and migration to Verisk. This role will support this activity and ultimately support the Business to manage the Verisk relationship in this area. In addition, this role will also support our regulatory reporting for all other existing US companies, including AGR US and Marine Business, which are reported directly to regulators and not through Verisk.
##Generate monthly and quarterly reports for the bureaus and generate reconciliation reports monthly/quarterly/yearly, including reviewing and approving release to the regulator.~crlf~##Research issues with out of balance or data quality issues over the tolerance points allowable by the regulator, analyzing options for corrections and making go forward decisions. ~crlf~##Act as subject matter expert to the various stakeholders to provide insight into reporting requirements and liaison with the bureaus as required to support the stakeholder inquiries.~crlf~##Coordinate and support the business in implementing ISO Circulars and Bureau (ISO, NISS, NCCI, TICO, Mass Auto CAR, and Surety Association) reporting changes from Verisk, including making any changes required to the AGCS applications. ~crlf~##Requirements and user acceptance testing for maintenance, enhancements and/or projects as well as negotiating exceptions/exemptions with regulators.~crlf~##Build and manage relationships with key business functions to ensure US Regulatory Reporting stakeholders have transparency and insight into evolving US Regulatory reporting requirements.~crlf~##Coordinate audits in area of responsibility, as required, including supporting department data calls and audit support functions.~crlf~~crlf~
##Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ experience in role supporting IT or Business Projects;~crlf~##Relevant experience in the US Regulatory Reporting domain and/or US P&C Business Analysis;~crlf~##Understanding of US Regulatory Reporting Requirements as they apply to the AGCS Application suite supporting our various Lines of Business;~crlf~##Understanding of IT operational processes, process improvement methodologies, application landscape and domain knowledge in Insurance;~crlf~##Professional experience in business analysis and systems analysis a plus;~crlf~##Project management experience, delivering cross-regional and cross-functional scope and managing project resources, as well as the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and steering and controlling;~crlf~##Managing providers concerning performance, SLAs and innovation;~crlf~##Experience working internationally and remotely managing and developing regional virtual teams across numerous locations;~crlf~##Ability to listen, understand and translate the regulatory reporting needs into requirements and solutions, analyze complex situations and divide work into manageable pieces, and deliver quality results on time and within budget;~crlf~##Excellent verbal and written communications skills;~crlf~##Ability to collaborate across various areas and levels of the organization;~crlf~##Strong Microsoft Office skills; and~crlf~##SQL Knowledge a plus.~crlf~~crlf~
