Head of Product Design & Optimization (m/f/d)
The Global Digital Factory (GDF) is an organizational unit within Allianz Technology SE developing globally harmonized frontends for business applications. Our goal is to create engaging customer experiences which are built on latest technology for Allianz customers across the globe. GDF is based in Munich and collaborates closely with Allianz Technology`s globally distributed delivery network to ensure high scalability.~crlf~ ~crlf~The Head of Product Design & Optimization reports to the Head of GDF and is responsible for the expert teams in the functional domains of UX Research, UX/UI Design and Digital Marketing. These domains ensure that frontend applications address actual user needs, leverage our retail and expert design systems and are properly evaluated and optimized after successful roll-out.~crlf~ ~crlf~Furthermore, the Product Design and Optimization team collaborates closely with the development and roll-out teams of GDF and other stakeholders of Allianz Group to enable the end-to-end interface design, delivery process and further software product evolution.
##Disciplinary lead to experts from the functional domains of user research, UX/UI design and digital marketing supporting strategic initiatives~crlf~##Act as a thought leader and actively contribute to one or more of the functional domains with your expertise within Allianz Group~crlf~##Collaborate with various (senior) stakeholders across the organization to ensure that GDF`s harmonized UX and UI serves the business and user need. Liaise with relevant units of Allianz to support the strategy and contribute to evolve our core platforms~crlf~##Plan, align and implement the GDF way of working to suit the required project setup and ensure seamless integration of processes~crlf~##Match project demand and resource availabilities to ensure proper support for all strategic initiatives and priority projects~crlf~##Create and enhance standards and libraries in UX/UI design and digital marketing and take ownership for the governance and contribution processes~crlf~##Explain and actively promote the expert domains to non-experts and explain technical dependencies to design and marketing to IT stakeholders~crlf~##Create and leverage internal networks to identify additional demands and latest trends within Allianz Group and further establish the GDF as digital frontrunner. Adopt new market standards to support GDFs processes and functional domains~crlf~
##Working experience of 8+ years in a relevant area~crlf~##University degree, preferrably in the areas of marketing, IT or similar experience~crlf~##Fluent Business English; German language skills is a plus~crlf~##Proven track record as digital expert in a relevant functional domain~crlf~##Proven leadership experience ideally within an international environment~crlf~##Experience with design, prototyping and collaboration tools and/or digital marketing technology (e.g. sketch, inVision, Adobe Marketing Suite)~crlf~##Comprehensive knowledge of user interface design and development, processes, and standards, particularly as applied to web-based applications. Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of latest web technologies~crlf~##Strong team player with high assertiveness, ability to work under pressure with high degree of complexity and changing requirements. Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict management skills combined with analytical and problem solving skills~crlf~
