You will be responsible for providing and then driving through the strategic vision of ARC globally, deliver the ARC global business objectives, driving improvement throughout the ARC operation, driving any required change management within ARC globally; you will also chair, lead, direct and make appropriate decision within ARC Executive Management Team Meetings, allocate ARC resources according to strategic decisions, share ARC challenges through successful empowerment of reporting managers. In addition you will act as final ARC arbitrator in all business review issues, ARC representation as required at AGCS Board level and as Global ambassador role for ARC.~crlf~ ~crlf~Future challenges:~crlf~##Lead ARC transformation initiative and changes~crlf~##Effective management within the global matrix and collaboration~crlf~##Driving future challenges that includes building analytic skills and using new technology advancements across Line of Business

People Management (regional responsibility):~crlf~##Lead, manage and develop the regional ARC team~crlf~##Disciplinary responsibilities for all direct reporting staff in Region’s OE~crlf~##Oversight of ARC staff~crlf~##Relationship management through all countries, Risk Consulting functions and Risk Consulting Lines of Business (multi-line)~crlf~ ~crlf~Strategic Planning:~crlf~##Planning and controlling ARC sizing and geographic distribution to achieve cost and service effectiveness (including manpower planning)~crlf~##Responsible for the provision of workforce availability within region, know-how transfer, training and implementation of ARC IT tools~crlf~##Leading and managing ARC operation based on agreed business plans, budgets and guidelines from Global Allianz Risk consulting in Munich; contributing to ARCN development, by working with AGCS CUO RC CRE in Munich, ARCN council etc.~crlf~ ~crlf~Control of performance and quality standards:~crlf~##Developing and driving training and developmental plan of ARC Staff~crlf~##Motivating and supervising staff within ARC and monitoring loss control service standards, by setting performance targets, performance tracking, conducting annual staff performance/package review and competency assessment, conducting regular meetings etc.~crlf~##Active resolution of client complaints in conjunction with key account management, Underwriting/Claims and – if necessary – with Global Allianz Risk Consulting~crlf~ ~crlf~Collaboration & Communication:~crlf~##Active support of Market Management in respect of client events, seminars and direct client contacts~crlf~##Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market Management and Claims colleagues, as well as all other co-workers, client representatives, brokers, etc, to achieve customer satisfaction, both internally and externally~crlf~##Maintains excellent communications with Underwriting, Claims and Market Management personnel, participating in periodic meetings to keep abreast of corporate developments and objectives~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting:~crlf~##Reporting all relevant information to the Global Head of Risk Consulting~crlf~##Monitors the account workload as distributed within the ARC team, providing metrics as required to the Global Head. Reports on staffing requirements~crlf~##Provide reports to top management and others shareholders as applicable~crlf~ ~crlf~Regional Representation:~crlf~##Point of entry for the Managing Director~crlf~##Active member of the Regional management team with specific reference to Risk Consulting, supporting marketing activities and other strategic developments where required~crlf~##Representation of ARC Region in the ARC Executive Management Team~crlf~##Advocate both internally and externally for ARC Risk Consulting within the Region~crlf~

Required experience:~crlf~##Experience in insurance, risk consulting or underwriting (Minimum 11+ years)~crlf~##Senior management experience (Minimum 11+ years)~crlf~##Experience in a multinational organization with a matrix structure and cross-functional interaction in leading and manage remote teams(Minimum 5 to 7 years)~crlf~ ~crlf~Required education:~crlf~##Degree in Engineering discipline; Bachelor’s degree in other coursework will be considered in conjunction with extensive technical experience~crlf~##Relevant graduate qualification is highly desirable; management qualifications an advantage~crlf~ ~crlf~Technical skills:~crlf~##Risk assessment and Management: ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to Line of Business~crlf~ ~crlf~General skills:~crlf~##Analytical Skills: ability to analyse highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~##Communication & Presentation: ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story~crlf~##Negotiation and conflict management: ability to negotiate best position for AGCS, and client, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties~crlf~##Managing people: Ability to lead and manage a team of Risk Consultant. Includes the ability to delegate tasks, steer team direction/goals, etc.~crlf~
