Medical Operations Strategy Project Manager (m/f) - Paris or Munich

    Allianz Partners has set up a Medical Assistance and Health Services Operations as a dedicated structure within Group Operations. The aim is to strengthen the globalized vertical function in an environment where 28 entities worldwide have medical activities. To achieve this, 4 worldwide regions have been established which regionalize medical expertise across operations platforms called Medical Global Competence Centers (MGCCs) in Brussels, Belgium (Europe 1), Munich, Germany (Europe 2), Brisbane, Australia (APAC) and Kitchener, Canada (Americas). The Global Office team plays a fundamental role in driving the setup and the run of the new governance with common standards.~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting to the Medical Operations leadership in Global Office, you will drive and support the implementation of the Medical Operations strategy, in particular:~crlf~ ~crlf~##Drive Strategic / Planning Dialogue preparation and integration including define global strategy for Medical Operations~crlf~##Lead Medical Operations Digital innovation propositions, including piloting ~crlf~##Support transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations (Allianz/Allianz Partner group projects, Digitalization of the Medical value chain, New products/tenders etc.)

  • Key Responsibilities

    Drive Global Medical Operations strategic planning – including financial assessment / business case analysis:~crlf~##Building of business models for potential savings initiatives~crlf~##Tracking of communications / document collections from Regional/Local Medical Operations leads~crlf~##Exchanges with the Group COO office / Board~crlf~##Leading overall development of SD/PD and provide high-level assessment of internal and external cost savings expected through factor cost, productivity gains and cost containment ~crlf~##Tracking of PD follow-up including the actuals. Ensuring all KPI tracking is implemented and tracked per month in the region~crlf~##Updating of financial assessments pertaining to Medical Operations~crlf~ ~crlf~Lead innovation in Digital Strategy for in coordination with Medical Operations:~crlf~##Designing overall Medical Operations Digital Customer Journey, specifically for the "Digital Outpatient Roadmap"~crlf~##Leading discussions with external partners to identify, scope and select digital innovations~crlf~##Piloting of selected solutions in MGCCs/BUs and measure/monitor impact~crlf~ ~crlf~Support project / initiatives tracking in alignment with Medical Operations strategy:~crlf~##Maintain and update tracking tools to ensure alignment with Regional Heads, including escalations where needed~crlf~##Monthly delivery of tracking templates for all Regions and to be shared with Global Head of Medical Operations & Group Transformation Office~crlf~##Implementation of the Medical KPI dashboard across all regions~crlf~##Consolidation of project tracking into overall KPI dashboard~crlf~ ~crlf~Contribute to strategy definition for Medical Operations and support transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations (Allianz/Allianz Partner group projects, Digitalization of the Medical value chain, New products/tenders etc.)~crlf~##Drive alignment of Regional Operational Heads towards a common position~crlf~##Act as representative of the unit towards other Global functions (Marketing, HR, Sales,…)~crlf~##Analyse requests from other departments and recommend proposals / solutions~crlf~##Support Regional initiatives and projects~crlf~ ~crlf~Define harmonized standards/procedures for Medical Operations in the following areas: ~crlf~##Governance, processes, Workforce Management, Systems (incl. ABS), Operational Monitoring (i.e. KPI tracking)~crlf~ ~crlf~Ensure ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders:~crlf~##Prepare ad-hoc updates for management/ team~crlf~##Identify issues, escalate them and track resolution~crlf~##Ensure alignment with management/Regional Operational Heads on key orientations

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Prior analysis and project management work experience (10+) preferably with consultancy background ~crlf~##Previous experience in strategy consultant or equivalent; High level deliverables to the Board level stakeholders ~crlf~##Proven experience/results with digital solutions and application to operational processes ~crlf~##Proven operational experience in driving organizational change in an international environment ~crlf~##Proven experience leading a strategic team working on conceptual topics ~crlf~##Pragmatic solution finder~crlf~##Comfortable in a changing environment, where reactivity to short-notice requests are expected~crlf~##Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required~crlf~##Fluency in English required, German/ French a plus
