    The compliance manager will govern all compliance programs and related processes pertaining to the business written by AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey) in accordance with the firms Compliance Policy and annual Compliance Plan.~crlf~ ~crlf~As an advisor, the compliance manager will act as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing ongoing regulatory advice and guidance to the Company’s employee and will proactively provide compliance input on relevant business issues (new products, new business partnerships, change in operational processes, etc.).

  • Key Responsibilities

    The main missions are : ~crlf~ ~crlf~Technical ~crlf~##Ensure enforcement of compliance policies and procedures through management of all compliance programs within AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey)~crlf~##Act as a Data Protection Professional for AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey) overseeing compliance with all relevant Data Privacy legislation and Group Standards~crlf~##Ensure Compliance with Money Laundering legislation and Sanctions monitoring requirements, responsibilities to include:~crlf~-Gathering and disseminating information about AML/CFT requirements in the firm ~crlf~-Identifying the implications of AML/CFT measures for the business conducted by the firm ~crlf~-Assessing and mitigating the money laundering and terrorist financing risks relevant to the firm~crlf~-Promoting the firms AML/CFT programme ~crlf~-Communicating the firm's AML/CFT policy ~crlf~-Designing and overseeing procedural controls to monitor money laundering and terrorist financing risks in the firm ~crlf~-Ensuring all employees of the firm comply with AML/CFT measures ~crlf~-Developing and maintaining AML/CFT records for the firm (including documentary evidence of compliance, records for customers and transactions, and reporting and training records) ~crlf~ ~crlf~##Ensure integrity of all employees of AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey), based on anti-fraud and anti-corruption policies~crlf~##Ensure general screening of 3rd Parties to fight against corruption and internal fraud~crlf~##Ensure screening pertaining to Economic and Financial Sanctions for AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey), is conducted including end user customers, business partners, third party-administrators, providers, vendors, agents and intermediaries,##Ensure Anti-Trust regulations are properly addressed~crlf~ ~crlf~Policies, Processes and Systems~crlf~##Support and coordinate governance and communication of necessary 1st level controls to protect AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey) from compliance risks, conducting spot checks and control testing where appropriate~crlf~##Ensure compliance training on all compliance programs, in accordance with the AP Compliance Training and Awareness Plan, is provided to AWP Health & Life S.A. (Paris) and its subsidiary firm, Hauteville Insurance Company Limited (Guernsey) employees whilst monitoring and reporting on training delivery and effectiveness~crlf~##Ensure appropriate regular and one-off monitoring activities are conducted as required and in accordance with the AP IRCS and CMS Testing Schedules ~crlf~ ~crlf~Fostering Relationships~crlf~##Develop clear and collaborative interfaces with other Allianz Partners Regional Business Units and all AWP Health & Life S.A.   • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Fluent in English (Written and Spoken Business language)~crlf~##Fluent in French (Written and Spoken Business language)~crlf~##Relevant 3rd level qualification, a professional Compliance Qualification is desirable~crlf~##Experience in a Risk Assurance, Legal or Audit based role within a financial services institution and familiarity with the principles and practice of financial services regulations and compliance an advantage~crlf~##Practical knowledge of key legislative / regulatory requirements ~crlf~##Excellent communication skills and strong professional manner : demonstrated success as a “communicator” with executives or non executive staff, and a confident approach and an ability to communicate with a range of people including external advisors and senior management within the business~crlf~##A problem solver with an ability to dissect complex issues and deliver compliant solutions ~crlf~##A commitment to quality with a strong attention to detail is extremely important to this role
