Sr Communications Specialist
Responsible for managing all aspects of communicating key initiatives and change programs to employees. Supports an engaged workforce by providing the needed information and understanding in a timely manner. Consults with and coaches executives on communication strategies and tactics. Develops strategic communication plan and implements them -- writing and editing communications and developing presentations. Part of a team of employees focused on internal communications. As part of the team, responsible and accountable for various other aspects of internal communications such as developing the newsletters and managing intranet content.
* Develop relationships and provide communication consulting and coaching to executives, project managers, key business contacts, influence project activities related to communications~crlf~* Develop strategic communication plans, leverage change management tools to provide input to strategic communications, drive support and agreement for the plan~crlf~* Implement the communication plans – write, edit, develop presentations~crlf~* Manage and/or assist in the development of communication vehicles and activities such as large-scale meetings, newsletters and the intranet~crlf~* Measure communication effectiveness through surveys, behavior change, number of questions, etc.~crlf~
Experience:~crlf~* 4-5 years experience required~crlf~* 6-7 years experience preferred: Industry knowledge~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~* Four-year degree required: Communications, PR, English, Journalism or Marketing~crlf~* Advanced degree preferred~crlf~
