    Allianz Reinsurance America is looking for ~crlf~an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Adjuster II based either in our Rancho Cordova office or remote.~crlf~~crlf~Allianz Reinsurance America professionally manages the US workers’ compensation claims as well as the US legacy insurance portfolios for Allianz Group. The Group’s legacy liabilities total several billion dollars covering asbestos, pollution, workers’ compensation, and construction defect exposures. It is our task to manage these complex long tailed exposures and generate the best outcome possible.   • Key Responsibilities

    As Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II you will:~crlf~• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle moderate to complex workers' compensation claims. ~crlf~• Verify and analyze coverage. ~crlf~• Adhere to litigation management and medical management guidelines. ~crlf~• Manage a pending of claims in accordance with our internal best practices and claim handling guidelines. ~crlf~• This position will report to a Workers’ Comp Supervisor in the Rancho Cordova office.

    Do you have the skills and experience we are looking for?~crlf~Candidate must have ~crlf~• 5+ years of experience adjusting workers' compensation claims in multiple jurisdictions. ~crlf~• Ability to properly investigate, evaluate and settle claims within authority~crlf~• Knowledge of regulatory requirements ~crlf~• Proven knowledge of techniques used for effective and efficient claim handling~crlf~• Experience managing the litigation process ~crlf~• Proven focus on timely and cost effective claims resolution ~crlf~• Strong interpersonal and communication skills ~crlf~• Ability to work in a team environment~crlf~• Strong desk and time management skills~crlf~• Candidates with the skill, the experience and the desire to grow their career into a leadership role will be preferred
