Manages timely and accurate deliverables of the team/division. Maintains and/or prepares intermediate to complex reports, projects and or analysis in accordance with GAAP/IFRS/Statutory princple's as well as documented internal controls.

Financial Accounting and Reporting:~crlf~• Prepares a variety of standard, periodic reports or analysis of the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy.~crlf~• Prepares fundamental journal entries to the financial accounting system and has a good understanding of reasoning behind journal entry~crlf~• Coordinates financial transactions with operations that impact other operational systems~crlf~• Can respond to basic inquiries/requests from other areas with little or no supervision~crlf~• Intermediate understanding and performance of internal controls performed by self and why the process/control is important.~crlf~• Maintains a strong understanding of internal control environment including financial procedures and policies~crlf~• Easily able to identify internal control weaknesses and/or to develop stronger and more efficient controls~crlf~Projects:~crlf~• Plays a leading role in projects the team participates in (i.e. gathering information, responding to informational requests, etc.)~crlf~• Ability to work on intermediate to complex projects. Developing ability to lead projects~crlf~Leadership and Communication:~crlf~• Understands and supports the team/division initiatives/goals.~crlf~• Proactively communicates with internal and external customers relevant to job responsibilities~crlf~• Developing ability to mentor less experienced staff~crlf~

- 4-5 years experience required: • Public accounting experience~crlf~• Basic understanding of IFRS/GAAP/Statutory accounting guidance as well as internal controls~crlf~• Good understanding of general ledger/financial reporting~crlf~• Basic understanding of company products and structure~crlf~• Good understanding of all company computer systems, including Lotus Notes, Peoplesoft, Impromptu, Clarity/Essbase, Pricing.~crlf~• Good problem-solving ability. Works independently in resolving inquiries, requests, and problems. ~crlf~- 6-7 years experience preferred~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~- 6-7 years experience preferred~crlf~- Four-year degree required: Accounting, Finance or Economics~crlf~- Advanced degree preferred: CPA or MBA~crlf~
