Remediation Analyst

  • Job Purpose/ Role

    Under general supervision, responsible for collaborating with business leaders, key stakeholders, and partners to effectively develop and execute remediation plans as a result of system or process deficiencies. May partner with more senior analysts on complex and/or large-scale initiatives. **Securities licensing is generally required for those directly involved with activities related to Variable products, Broker Dealers, and Registered Representatives.**

  • Key Responsibilities

    -Conducts data analysis and results validation to ensure data completeness, accuracy and integrity. Documents and uses data for problem solving and reporting for various stakeholders across the organization.~crlf~~crlf~-Apply working knowledge of products, systems, processes, and risk tolerance to identify, develop and implement solutions to mitigate financial, reputational, and operational risk.~crlf~~crlf~-Develop and execute testing plans.~crlf~~crlf~-Establish and manage multiple remediation project plan and activities to completion; these include: engaging project resources, utilize project management tools and methodology, prepare regular status reporting on plan to actual, identify risks and issues and align with key stakeholders.~crlf~~crlf~-Develop or maintain remediation documentation, deliver remediation related training, provide subject matter and technical expertise to support process owners and other personnel as needed.~crlf~~crlf~-Participate in key initiatives and special projects as assigned. May provide coaching, mentoring, and work direction to more junior staff. Support more senior staff.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Experience:~crlf~2-3 years of experience required: Experience working with life and/or annuity products; proven ability to problem solve and analyze trends.~crlf~~crlf~4-5 years of experience preferred: Securities licensing is preferred due to the direct and/or indirect assessment and monitoring of securities related corrections.~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~High school diploma required~crlf~Four-year degree preferred: Business or related field.~crlf~~crlf~**If Securities licensing is required as outlined above, the deadline to obtain is 90 days from the date Variable-related activities commence.
