Project Server Administrator\System Analyst - Sr or Specialist

    Overview:~crlf~~crlf~* MS Project Server Administration (Enterprise Edition)~crlf~* Forecasting and Financial Reporting~crlf~* SharePoint ~crlf~* Excel - pivot tables and advanced use~crlf~* SQL~crlf~* Helpful to have Nintex and Infopath~crlf~~crlf~Lead member of the Portfolio Management capability focused on the ongoing operational support of Microsoft Project. This includes not only technical oversight the application, but also oversight of custom resource forecasting and financial report development, as well as monitoring project health status, triaging issues, and supporting strategic initiatives which enable project delivery and improve team efficiencies.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with Portfolio Manager to establish short and long term goals and strategy for improving the Project Server capability (e.g. define road-map to improve people, process and technology) and lead strategic initiatives~crlf~• Propose and deliver reporting and process improvements that will enhance decision making based on Project Server data~crlf~• Propose and deliver technology enhancements to improve Project Server stability, optimize performance, or improve efficiency~crlf~• Provide oversight of both consultant resources to complete ongoing account maintenance, and manage reporting data~crlf~• Provide project reporting service by collaborating with stakeholders (i.e. project delivery teams, resource managers, CPO, Finance, etc.) to ensure reports meet user needs and meet quality and performance standards~crlf~• Provide guidance and training to resources using Project Server

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Experience~crlf~• 5+ years experience required. Specific requirements: Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain Project Server/PWA environment (i.e. patch management, Security access management, Data Analysis Views, OLAP cubes, PSIs, and SQL Reporting)~crlf~• Ability to give work direction to offshore team and lead internal team efforts for critical system updates, enhancements and patches.~crlf~• Proven communication skills and customer service support.~crlf~• Preferred experience: SQL development, Nintex Workflow, SharePoint, Excel proficiency, experience in using Agile Scrum
