Enterprise Data Steward

The Enterprise Data Steward role will be a key contributor to define and shape the data governance organization for Allianz Life, ensuring that business units and IT are educated in governance activities. This will include defining workflows, project engagement, data policies and data quality standards. Promotes and champions Allianz Data Governance Capability and data management program across the organization. Accountable for driving organizational acceptance of Allianz Data Management Policy established data~crlf~standards, policies, and definitions and process standards for critical/related enterprise data.

* Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities~crlf~* Data stewards will profile the data and define appropriate data quality rules especially for critical attributes to ensure reliable data. Data stewards are also accountable to ensure data quality issues are addressed reliably and in a timely fashion.~crlf~* Data stewards are responsible for identifying golden sources of data sets and guiding users and application development to use these~crlf~* Data stewards will help to create and maintain data lineage allowing users to trace data reliably to the point of origin and pinpoint any quality problems in the data pipelines~crlf~* Define, maintain and advise relevant stakeholders as appropriate on data governance-related matters.~crlf~* Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules and policy (in conjunction with the Governance Council as appropriate).~crlf~* Coordinate across the organization with fellow Data Stewards on strategic initiatives, in order to maintain consistency of Allianz operational and analytical data across change portfolio.~crlf~* Accountable for ensuring that data-centric activities are aligned with the data office program and leverage applicable data standards, governance processes, and overall best practices.~crlf~* Maintain the single set of enterprise-level data standards & repository of key elements pertaining to their in-scope data domain, and promoting their use throughout the organization.~crlf~* Work across project portfolio to ensure that any data related changes and dependencies are identified communicated and managed to ensure adherence with the Data Governance established standards.~crlf~

Experience:~crlf~~crlf~* 4-5 years experience required: Work within a data organization, governance or analytics related.~crlf~* 4-5 years experience preferred: Working in a data governance organization as a data steward or data analyst.~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~~crlf~* Two-year degree or equivalent experience~crlf~
