Business Analyst

The business analyst serves as the liaison between key business stakeholders and IT in the analysis and delivery of system enhancements, business process improvements and product delivery. This role is primarily responsible for timely and effective delivery of scope, requirements, user stories, user acceptance testing, post install validation, and traceability across these project artifacts. An effective business analyst will demonstrate strong and proactive meeting coordination / facilitation to elicit detailed and comprehensive business requirements / user stories during interviews, joint application development (JAD) sessions, and user story refinement sessions. The ideal candidate will be proficient with assessing and documenting business needs, stakeholder impacts, business process and gap analyses. He or she must have experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and navigating both waterfall and Scrum methodologies. Advanced technical writing skills are needed to translate business needs into requirements and user stories that can be consumed by IT partners for design and development, and quality assurance test planning.

Essential Job Functions~crlf~* Clarify scope that includes stakeholder impacts, current / future state business processes, and a gap analysis~crlf~* Elicit, analyze and document clear, concise, detailed business requirements or user stories and ensure design meets and supports business needs~crlf~* Plan and manage execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the delivered solution meets business needs~crlf~* Provide input into business readiness planning, including communication, training; and plans and manages execution of production validation~crlf~

Experience: ~crlf~* 4-5 years experience required: Business Analysis in Financial Services and/or Insurance Industry; demonstrated accomplishments in implementing projects and other initiatives~crlf~* 6-7 years experience preferred: Solid knowledge encompassing multiple areas in Allianz Operations~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~* Four-year degree or equivalent work experience. ~crlf~* Four-year degree preferred ~crlf~~crlf~Licenses/Certifications/Other~crlf~* CCBA or equivalent required upon reaching certification eligibility requirements or ability to obtain within 360 days of employment for internal hires; external hires are required to obtain certification within 180 days of employment.~crlf~~crlf~
