Allianz provides the opportunities to create successes from high impact projects such as developing reserving methodologies and models for innovative new products and benefits.~crlf~~crlf~- As an entry-level member of our Financial Reporting team, you’ll provide mathematical and technical support in the management of our insurance products. This will include developing methodology for reserving and reporting on our products across multiple financial reporting bases, ensuring the control and accuracy of our financial statements, and working closely with stakeholders in the US and abroad to help drive understanding of our financial results. In addition, you'll collaborate with experts across the company including investments, risk, accounting, and IT to create accurate, efficient processes and procedures aimed at delivering timely financial information.~crlf~~crlf~- Our actuaries do much more than the traditional financial reporting roles. As your career progresses, you’ll have opportunities to drive business decisions both inside and outside of the company. This includes involvement in industry groups tasked with influencing financial reporting standards, working with colleagues at Allianz SE, and collaborating with other leaders at Allianz to drive financial and business decisions.
To succeed in this position, you'll need a track record of academic success, including a degree in actuarial science or math, completion of at least one SOA exam and proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheet and database applications. In addition, you should have excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.~crlf~
