  • Key Responsibilities

    •Works closely with the CIO and investment team members to serve as an internal and external advocate for the designated investment strategy~crlf~•Originates product information with focus on the investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and illustration of the investment case~crlf~•Acts as the external voice of the respective investment team and is the interface between investment professionals and the sales and marketing professionals~crlf~•Substitutes the fund manager at marketing events , as well as client and consultant meetings~crlf~•Owns and leads the external and internal communication of investment related content for marketing purposes~crlf~•Actively writes and articulates portfolio relevant commentaries to support the product presentation of sales and marketing colleagues~crlf~•Delivers the required portfolio and investment strategy related content to the RFP team and client service entities~crlf~•Acts as an effective business partner to support the business development activities of sales and marketing focused and appropriately~crlf~•Provides training to educate the sales force in the required technical details to present the investment strategy to clients~crlf~•Monitors and articulates investment process refinements~crlf~•Stays abreast with the strategy's performance in context to relevant competitor products and can explain performance scenarios relative to the market environment and peers~crlf~•Actively participates in the regional Product specialist team activities in order to share best practice with the PS and to stimulate the group of product specialists with themes and ideas raise the quality of PS work and to leverage the existing business network with sales colleagues

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    •Over 10 years professional experience in portfolio management, institutional sales, product management or a high end institutional client service role ~crlf~•Excellent communication skills, able to tailor message for a diverse range of audiences and to clearly articulate investment content~crlf~•Strong written and verbal command of English and Japanese in a second language spoken in the key target market for the respective investment strategy~crlf~•Able coach and influencer, who thrives in a collegiate environment~crlf~•Experience in working in a large financial institution and strong networking ability with diplomatic skills~crlf~•Entrepreneurial and organized personality with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment~crlf~•Intellectual and cultural curiosity~crlf~•Proactive with internal and external clients and responsive to their needs~crlf~•IT literate~crlf~•Prepared for extensive business travel in Asia~crlf~•Dedicated and deep knowledge about multi asset investing and product relevant jurisdictions~crlf~•CFA, CAIA, CEFA or CIIA qualified~crlf~•Client network of institutional clients and investment consultants in Asia/Pacific is a plus
