At AGCS our Strategic Sourcing & Procurement department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class sourcing, purchasing and vendor management services to business departments and stakeholders.~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting directly to the Team Lead of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement you will be responsible for definition and execution of the Procurement strategy on a category level and on a global range. This includes implementation of global strategic initiatives, realization of relevant procurement process adjustments and achievement of targeted savings.

In this role you will…~crlf~##Drive creation and execution of global procurement activities (strategic, operational) across the organization and act as a contact for all strategic purchasing~crlf~##Develop and manage global supplier base, align and implement procurement strategies related to spend and vendor status across the organization~crlf~##Drive excellence in global sourcing processes by creation and improvements of procurement policies, guidelines, processes, templates, etc.~crlf~##Preparation and management of vendor selection processes with business stakeholder and lead in contract negotiations until execution~crlf~##Ensure compliance of supplier agreements to business specific requirements including company relevant legal terms & conditions and apply AGCS´ compliance guidelines~crlf~##Work in a close co-operation with different cross functional teams~crlf~##Identification and execution of cost saving opportunities along the procurement value chain~crlf~##Alignment with Allianz Group Global Sourcing & Procurement~crlf~

##Proven insurance background including a good understanding of underwriting and claims processes ideally in corporate business~crlf~##Master degree in related field (e.g. Economic or technical study)~crlf~##Minimum 3-5 years depth procurement experience~crlf~##Procurement Category management expertise and experience within insurance procurement, consultancy category, IT and outsourcing ideally within financial sector~crlf~##Hands on knowledge of vendor selection processes (RfX) and good understanding of relevant contractual terms and conditions~crlf~##Practical knowledge in areas of procurement reporting, controlling and cost savings~crlf~##Good understanding of overall procurement processes including procure-to-pay and relevant tools~crlf~##Good knowledge of MS Office Products, Strategic Procurement Suite Ariba, SAP or similar~crlf~##Working experience in international teams~crlf~##Practical experience in project management and change management~crlf~##Very good command of English and German language (verbal and written) is mandatory~crlf~
