Head of Strategy Implementation (m/f/d)

You will plan, structure and execute projects with high impact, high change requirements and often high complexity across a range of functions within AGCS worldwide. Stakeholder management is a key part of the role, both in our Global Distribution network and across AGCS.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will oversee strategic alignment and be involved in exciting initiatives as part of the New AGCS, such as the Sales Excellence Process, Industry Solutions, broker & client management, marketing strategy and the sales academy. You will define and steer KPIs for your scope of responsibility. Your superlative project management tools and methodologies will ensure we drive concepts through to results.
In this role, you will take on the following main tasks:~crlf~ ~crlf~Business Improvement~crlf~##Drive and contribute to strategic thinking, to further improve success in the sales excellence process, as part of New AGCS~crlf~##Ensure cross-function alignment on strategic projects within and outside of Global Distribution~crlf~##Act as a connection point for these methodologies and strategies to ensure Global Distribution’s business requirements are integrated~crlf~##Promote and assure successful, timely and in-budget delivery of Global Distribution projects~crlf~ ~crlf~Project Management~crlf~##Oversee the project initiatives within Global Distribution~crlf~##Be responsible for overall Global Distribution project scope, management,implementation and documentation of key initiatives within the sales excellence process (Client segmentation, System implementation, Key Account Management resourcing, account prioritization and planning, ISD concept & roll out), broker & client management, marketing and the sales academy~crlf~##Actively performance manage and enable the project, to ensure initiatives and supporting work streams deliver together. Escalate appropriately if progress is delayed~crlf~##Maintain knowledge and oversight in all areas of the program/projects, including processes required to ensure all components are coordinated eg. project plan development processes, execution processes, and integrated change control processes~crlf~##Use high quality Project Management methodology & tools~crlf~##Handle the budget for projects, monitoring the expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as projects progress~crlf~##Identify, analyze and interpret relevant global and local data in order to challenge the status quo, define improvements and ensure that best practice underpins the project~crlf~##Use information to establish standards and ensure adoption for decisions relating to specific projects~crlf~##Actively participate in AGCS group projects as DCI, ACM, ITMP, acting as a connection point for these methodologies to ensure Global Distribution’s business requirements are integrated. Manage inter-dependencies between and within projects~crlf~ ~crlf~Communication and Relations Management~crlf~##Positively and proactively manage all stakeholders who are involved in or impacted by the project, including senior management~crlf~##Act as a cross-functional connection point for Global Distribution~crlf~##Ensure provision of timely and transparent project information, to provide accurate, relevant decision-making material. Create and provide regular updates for strategic meetings, developing high-impact presentation materials and reports, that are effective and appropriate for the target audience. Ensure that key messages are highlighted, understood and adopted and effectively break down complex issues to ensure complete audience understanding~crlf~ ~crlf~Global Standards & Governance~crlf~##Define a high-quality project management steering approach for all initiatives and projects. Regularly report on project progress and status including KPIs within your scope~crlf~ ~crlf~Project Team Management~crlf~##Reporting directly into the Head of Global Distribution, you will work closely with the whole Global Distribution team and business leaders~crlf~ ~crlf~Best-Practice Sharing~crlf~##Promote the Global Distribution sales excellence process in our organization~crlf~##Ensure business requirements are aligned and met when supporting cross-functional projects~crlf~##Commit to successful project delivery, keeping open and transparent communications on project progress, and addressing early challenges~crlf~##Display a New AGCS ''How'' culture while executing work~crlf~
##Preferably educated to Degree or Masters level, in Economics, Business Administration, Law or other related field~crlf~##Significant experience in international Commercial or Industrial Lines insurance, in front-line business development~crlf~##Significant experience delivering in an analytical role (sales, financial controlling or similar). Robust knowledge in at least one trade sector~crlf~##Significant demonstrable experience of fostering long-term, profitable relationships at senior level in broker and client organizations~crlf~##Significant experience working in a complex, global matrix organization~crlf~##Able to implement distribution tools and methodologies that provide a market advantage compared to competitors~crlf~##Extensive knowledge of commercial / industrial lines insurance risks and able to use this knowledge to implement best practices in channel management~crlf~##Solid knowledge of how a complex insurance market operates and functions, the business needs and customer needs and ability to apply this~crlf~##Excellent communication & presentation skills, with impeccable proficiency in both written and spoken English~crlf~##Able to analyze and examine data in depth to draw conclusions~crlf~##Anticipating any potential failures, you are able to resolve issues in a timely manner~crlf~##You steer projects effectively, by introducing economies of repetition and using project management guidance methods and metrics. You grasp and meet goals quickly~crlf~##Skilled at negotiation and influencing, you are able to reach a successful compromise, deal for the company's benefit and can impact and change other people’s views and decisions~crlf~
