HR Business Partner (1-year contract)

    At AGCS our Human Resources department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class support and counsel service to our managers.~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting directly to the Regional Head of HR, as one of the two Senior HR Business Partners for the London office, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR issues to the business, acting as both counsel and coach for managers with regards to HR initiatives, policies and procedures. You will provide advice and support, to motivate and retain employees in a challenging and fast changing business environment.

  • Key Responsibilities

    In this role you will:~crlf~##Act as the face of HR to the business~crlf~##Assess the HR implications of the business strategy, identify opportunities to further meet business needs and design solutions~crlf~##Establish and maintain trusted relationships with managers, listening to them to understand their context and challenges~crlf~##Support managers in identifying and managing high performing/high potential individuals and ensure succession plans are in place for key positions. Work with managers to identify future people requirements~crlf~##Consult managers on employee relations topics~crlf~##Provide support for the business regarding HR processes, eg. rewards, performance, grading, talent, development, annual compensation/performance reviews~crlf~##Work with the recruitment team to manage new positions ~crlf~##Play an active role in implementing regional and global HR projects and initiatives ~crlf~##Champion change and continuous improvement by proactively engaging with business managers~crlf~##Effectively maintain and administer all documentation and data for the relevant business area ~crlf~##Collaborate with the wider HR team both locally and globally

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##You have a degree or Masters in a related field~crlf~##Proven experience as an HR business partner, preferably in a global organization~crlf~##You have worked in a matrix environment supporting multiple locations~crlf~##You are familiar with UK employment law~crlf~##Have technical expertise in at least 1 HR topic (e.g., compensation, talent management)~crlf~##You are able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers~crlf~##You express your ideas and messages clearly and with confidence~crlf~##You are able to handle negotiations and delicate situations with tact and diplomacy, able to steer discussions to a solution~crlf~##You are comfortable working both in a team and independently, in an international and dynamic environment~crlf~##You are able to adapt to an evolving digital context
