    At AGCS, our Finance Operations team maintains optimal receivable levels by using automated processes, providing full transparency and receivable risk assessments. Our experts produce valuable financial insights for the company and help to protect its assets.~crlf~ ~crlf~Based in Munich, you will be part of a diverse and international team that handles all types of facultative reinsurance, with a focus on international insurance programs, reporting and cash settlement. You will report directly to the Head of Indirect Assumed, Co-Insurance and Outward Business and your responsibilities include content coordination, handling of all accounting topics as well as credit control activities.

  • Key Responsibilities

    In this role you will…~crlf~##Ensure that all accounts receivable / payables are settled as per agreed terms of settlement and booked correctly.~crlf~##Perform credit control function of Accounts Receivable/Payable and related account reconciliations as assigned.~crlf~##Coordination, transfer and reconciliation of data from interfaces of front-end systems~crlf~##Execute settlements with brokers and re-insurers particularly the control of outstanding balances of AGCS.~crlf~##Document application of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility and archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements. In this regard you can also draft standards to improve quality.~crlf~##Work collaboratively with other Functional areas (Operations, Accounting, Claims) in establishing processes, booking flows and accuracy completeness controls and maintain a collaborative relationship with external brokers.~crlf~##Contribute to the delivery of new projects as required.~crlf~##Support and coordinate sub-team with your expert knowledge and professional advice.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting (ideally Master degree)~crlf~##You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting and credit control practice in an international environment. Ideally experience in insurance accounting~crlf~##Proven experience in project management, ranging from individual tasks to large complex projects ~crlf~##Analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret complex data and processes~crlf~##Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Database skills to analyze and present data in a compelling way to a variety of stakeholders~crlf~##Good Communication skills and able to build and maintain positive relationships and work collaboratively in a team ~crlf~##You embrace agile working and engage in constant learning, to adapt to internal and external customer needs~crlf~##Fluent in English (able to negotiate) and proficient in German
