Regional Head of Cyber, Media & Tech Claims
## The position is responsible for monitoring and managing the AGC&S North America Region’s Cyber, Media and Technology Professional Liability lines claim portfolio in conjunction with the CPI Chief Underwriting Officer, Regional CPI Underwriting and Actuarial stakeholders. Serve as the North America Claims leader for our Cyber market relationships. Provide technical guidance on all highly complex matters. Provide technical training to staff to enhance cyber claims handling capabilities. Assist with management of various Cyber claims service providers. ~crlf~The position reports to the Head of Financial Lines Claims, North America Region.
## Technical Oversight of Cyber claims for the AGCS North America Region. ~crlf~1.)~crlf~Provide strategic and tactical guidance and reserve and settlement authorization to Cyber claim handlers. monitoring all losses.~crlf~2.)~crlf~Review of sensitive coverage position letters. ~crlf~3.)~crlf~Manage the Cyber claims portfolio to ensure reserve adequacy pursuant to AGC&S’ Claims Guidelines. ~crlf~4.)~crlf~Maintain a database of AGC&S’ high exposure CPI claims, loss scenarios and lessons shared with Underwriting and Product Development. ~crlf~5.)~crlf~Lead the CPI Claims discussion at Underwriting and Actuarial Meetings focusing upon claims trends and legislative developments impacting this line of business. ~crlf~6.)~crlf~Participate prominently at CPI Global Practice Group Claims meetings and at Regional Smart Circle meetings. ~crlf~7.)~crlf~Create and deliver a training curriculum for CPI claims in conjunction/coordination with Key Case Management to develop best practices.~crlf~8.)~crlf~Provide technical claims guidance to CPI Chief Underwriting Officer and Underwriters/ Management and Product Development in connection with identification of legal, coverage and risk trends as well as providing direct support on policy language development.~crlf~~crlf~## Direct Claim Handling~crlf~Directly handle the highest profile Cyber, Media & Technology Professional Liability claims within the U.S..~crlf~~crlf~## Market Facing Activities ~crlf~1.)~crlf~Assist Regional Underwriting Heads with development and maintenance of new and existing business relationships with distribution channel partners, key customers and prospects.~crlf~2.)~crlf~Represent AGC&S for Cyber Claims as a speaker at industry conferences.~crlf~3.)~crlf~Direct Cyber Claims thought leadership initiatives including external and internal communications as an author/editor for Claims publication(s).~crlf~~crlf~
## Minimum of 7-10 years of directly related claims handling experience~crlf~## Minimum of 5 years of Cyber claims experience~crlf~## Law / Juris Doctor or Master Degree in Finance~crlf~## Superior analytical / evaluation skills for assessing coverage, and developing and executing claim handling strategies and tactics to optimize results for high exposure complex third party litigated claims (Media and Tech E&O ) and first and third-party Cyber claims.~crlf~## Proven strategic thought leadership and recognized as a subject matter expert for Cyber Risk claims. ~crlf~## Superior experience managing cost-effective relationships with Cyber professional services providers including: Breach Counsel, IT Forensic firms and Crisis Management firms.~crlf~## Superior ability to contribute to portfolio steering strategy by providing strategically relevant and current information (loss trends, coverage decisions, etc..) to all internal stakeholders. ~crlf~## Ability to arrange, prepare and conduct formal claim technical Cyber Risk training for claims analysts and to co-lead a Global Claim Practice Group for Cyber Claims.~crlf~## Advanced written & oral communication/presentation skills. ~crlf~## Advanced negotiation skills as applied to complex litigated claims.~crlf~## Proven technical mentoring skills.~crlf~~crlf~
