##Lead a team of senior underwriters to underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet LoB targets regionally and globally~crlf~##Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions for large/essential clients~crlf~##Oversee large/essential accounts / clients and ultimate responsibility for accounts within team~crlf~##Lead senior team and development of team and referral point for other underwriters~crlf~##Develop relationships with brokers and clients

##Manage team of Underwriters; primarily Senior Underwriters / (Senior) Team Leads~crlf~##Delegate tasks to team to achieve overall results~crlf~##Manage team client accounts and act as point of referral and escalation for issues~crlf~##Manage cost center budget within plan~crlf~##Contribute to development of regional Underwriting strategy for LoB~crlf~##Manage referrals from underwriters and spokes and re-underwrite complex business~crlf~##May manage sub-LoB or area within regional team and to act as a "champion" for any matters relating to it~crlf~##Underwrite large/essential new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets. Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers. Manage capacity.~crlf~##Underwrite and evaluate Natural Catastrophe Accumulation, ensuring an understanding of catastrophe modeling and interpretation of scenarios (for relevant LoBs). Underwrite International Insurance Programs (for relevant LoBs)~crlf~##Underwrite following LoB governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles~crlf~##Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of creation~crlf~##Ensure the use of global pricing tools~crlf~##Ensure placing and binding of FAC Reinsurance before policy creation~crlf~##Promote acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and broker negotiations where necessary)~crlf~##Work with MMC on market management projects~crlf~##Positively represent AGCS externally to the market~crlf~##Promote involvement of departments in the Underwriting process, including e.g. MMC, ARC, Claims, and Operations~crlf~##Maintain relationships with essential brokers and clients and other relevant partners (e.g. risk managers)~crlf~~crlf~

##Preferably a degree in Economics, Law, or other appropriate discipline~crlf~##11+ years' experience Underwriting profitable business in LoB. Expert understanding of LoB products and portfolio~crlf~##Well recognized established relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within market~crlf~##Expert level experience with regional / local LoB insurance markets and competitor landscape and with legal and regulatory framework~crlf~##Experience working in a complex global matrix organization leading a team of professionals~crlf~##Assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to LoB~crlf~##Analyze current performance against benchmarks applying how the market operates and functions, our needs and customer needs~crlf~##Develop and implement consistent, robust wordings~crlf~##Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancelation.~crlf~##Express ideas and messages; ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story~crlf~##Persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority.~crlf~##Analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; resolve issues before they transpire.~crlf~##Lead and manage a team of underwriters. Includes the ability to delegate tasks, steer team direction/goals, etc.~crlf~~crlf~
