Junior Investment Risk Analyst in Corporate Finance and Treasury (m/f/d) / part-time and limited for 2 years
As Junior Investment Risk Analyst you will become an important member of the global Corporate Finance & Treasury (CF&T) team of AGCS, which consists of team members in Munich and Chicago and a network of local contacts in several other countries. You will be located in our Munich office and report to the Head of Global Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Investment Risk Analysis. The Munich team is an integral part of the global CF&T team, which is responsible for all asset-liability-management and investment related processes as well as treasury and capital management processes globally, including managing capital and dividend requirements of all AGCS entities.~crlf~The focus of the position is on managing the foreign exchange (FX) risk, supporting ALM processes and monitoring the investment result and risk of AGCS.
In this role you will….~crlf~ ~crlf~##Monitor, analyze and steer FX exposures and FX result ~crlf~##Support analysis and monitoring of investment result and risk development (focus: FX result and investment expenses) in close collaboration with our Investment Managers and Risk Management~crlf~##Support definition and implementation of processes to determine and steer Liquidity risk, aiming for globally consistent, efficient and effective procedures, and produce liquidity risk analyses, reports and commentary.~crlf~##Support other ALM and investment risk related processes (including Solvency 2 risk capital closing).~crlf~##Support definition and implementation of corporate rules and process descriptions aiming for transparency and solid governance frameworks for own area of responsibility~crlf~##Keep abreast of market developments, regulations and Allianz Group corporate rules affecting own area of responsibility.~crlf~##Support local and global ALM & Investment Risk Analysis, CF&T or Finance related projects in close cooperation with other CF&T / CFO experts and our Investment Managers~crlf~
##Excellent tertiary qualification(ideally Master), preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other relevant analytical discipline or qualified by experience in related discipline~crlf~##First progress to recognized professional qualification (e.g. CFA, Actuarial degree, or Risk Management) of advantage~crlf~##Proven experience (including internships) in re-/insurance or investment management, with first experience in ALM and investment risk analysis / capital management / treasury~crlf~##Hands-on experience in quantitative financial and/or risk modeling.~crlf~##Strong analytical, numerical and adaptive problem solving skills, using a structured and methodological approach~crlf~##Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) skills to effectively analyze data. Finance system (e.g. SAP, ECCS, Planning Tool) skills considered a plus.~crlf~##Open and flexible work approach "can-do" attitude, personal initiative and drive, results-orientation~crlf~##Effectively work in projects and teams (defining targets and milestone, managing resources, navigating complex stakeholder structures and requirements, project monitoring and reporting, moderation techniques)~crlf~##Understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing)~crlf~##Fluent in English and, ideally, in German~crlf~
