Deal Operations Analyst, Alternative Risk Transfer
At AGCS we are dedicated to supporting our clients by working with them to deliver the best possible solutions to the management, control and reduction of risks.~crlf~ ~crlf~Based in London and reporting directly to the Senior Deal Operations Analyst within the Alternative Risk Transfer Line of Business, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Delegated Authority portfolio within the Alternative Risk Transfer unit at AGCS.~crlf~ ~crlf~This includes the onboarding of new clients, recording of new transactions into our underwriting systems, monitoring the portfolio, liaising with Finance & Accounting and reconciling the book with our clients. This role involves interaction with clients and colleagues in multiple international offices.
In this role you will:~crlf~##Have responsibility for the operational running of a portfolio of allocated accounts~crlf~##Ensure all transactions within the assigned area are properly entered into the underwriting systems ~crlf~##Coordinate information flow externally and internally, and ensure ongoing internal processes are followed~crlf~##Ensure all transaction documentation and underwriting supporting material are completed properly, in time and all processes followed~crlf~##Assist in general operations, tasks and process development and contribute on assigned projects~crlf~##Assist and work closely with the Underwriter on new and renewal Delegated Authority business~crlf~##Coordinate and participate in client audits and “health checks”~crlf~##Be the point of contact for client referrals and coordinate these internally~crlf~
##You will have strong traditional insurance and reinsurance knowledge~crlf~##You will demonstrate an understanding of Insurance operations~crlf~##You are a “self-starter” and bring with you the ability to work independently across teams and under time pressure~crlf~##You will ideally have a knowledge of non-traditional business including Delegated Authorities~crlf~##Strong communication and diplomacy skills are necessary; and you will be skilled at negotiation both internally and externally at senior levels. You will be able to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally~crlf~##You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail; a diligent work attitude and the ability to define complex problems and develop solutions to these problems~crlf~##You will have the ability to manage many concurrent tasks across multiple transactions and with different internal and external customers~crlf~
