ARC Senior Liability Risk Consultant (remote Anywhere USA)
Responsible for providing loss control expertise, support and assistance to AGCS and its customers, to assist Allianz underwriting in liability exposure analysis, risk selection and retention in industries in Chemical and Products Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities as well as Mining. Conduct desk-top-reviews, risk dialogues, on-site engineering visits to the facilities of existing and prospective clients, and maintain professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market Management, Claims, clients and brokers. Provide risk improvement consultancy services to AGCS’s large corporate clients across North America. Act as point of contact for Chemical, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas liability risks, involving in the appraisal and development of liability loss control products on existing and emerging risks and providing presentations and information when required. Able to work within a Matrix Managements system and continuously improve technical skills and expertise in the Liability role.~crlf~Develop into Liability Expert being able to support various sublines and support the Global team too.
##To complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarizing exposures and controls stemming from Chemical and Products Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities as well as Mining industries. ~crlf~##Survey client operations by conducting risk dialogues, site visits, obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, and discuss findings with appropriate parties; generate loss control reports, recommendations etc.~crlf~##Specialist in Chemical/Manufacturing/ Oil & Gas liability risks acting as a point of contact for the Underwriters in North America ~crlf~##Supporting the Liability Global Team network~crlf~##To deliver Liability claims analysis through the ability to simplify complex technical narratives into a concise narrative structure~crlf~##Assist AGCS and clients with respect to ongoing or specific projects, support technical training presentations for internal and external clients as required / appropriate~crlf~~crlf~
##Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred~crlf~##7-10 years of professional experience in the Chemical, Manufacturing or Oil and Gas industries~crlf~##3 to 5 years of experience working with Insurance entities and an overall understanding of Risk Consulting methodologies~crlf~##Ideal experience, though not required: Knowledge of quality assurance and risk management systems and tools: SWOT Analysis, FMEA, ISO 9000 and 29001 standards, Six Sigma methodology~crlf~##Knowledge of quality control and risk assessment methods~crlf~##Knowledge of the regulatory and legislation system in applicable fields~crlf~##Understanding of basic insurance risk transfer mechanisms~crlf~##Industry specific experience: Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, etc.~crlf~##Strong oral communication abilities and solution-oriented risk consulting skills~crlf~##Advanced presentation skills in a varied environment~crlf~~crlf~
