About the Job 

We’re looking for a Tooling Engineer to join our AZ WorkS team within Allianz Group’s Infrastructure & Information Security (IF&S) department. In this role, you will be part of an agile DevOps team focused on enhancing IT support services globally. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing tool integrations, ensuring high-quality service delivery for Allianz employees worldwide.

Your expertise in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell will help improve the functionality of our service desk, onsite support, and hardware management solutions. What you do

• Collect, analyze, and check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design. 
• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and implement interfaces to other tools within Az WorkS scope. 
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to leverage new features and capabilities. 
• Discuss new requirements with experts based on the OE’s demands and drive their implementation. 
• Support the design and implementation of the services components according to the architecture roadmap. 
• Collaborate with expert teams in Workplace Services for the exchange of best practices and process management training.  
• Collaborate with third-party vendors providing global onsite IT support solutions to ensure they adhere to the established quality and functionality standards. 
• Develop the service in agile teams and supports the implementation of software engineering techniques and methods. 

What you bring

• ServiceNow Expertise: Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and experience in demand, configuration, release, deployment, and test management.
• Work Methodology: Agile experience (preferably SCRUM), with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Soft Skills: Strong prioritization, stress management, critical thinking, and ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Collaboration & Communication: Effective teamwork, intercultural cooperation, conflict management, and strong English communication skills.
• Mindset & Adaptability: Agile mindset, curiosity for modern technologies, and flexibility with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience & Technical Skills: 5+ years in Tooling Engineering with expertise in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell) and software engineering principles.
• Education & Certifications: Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, with knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
