Delivery Manager Finance Applications

The primary function of the CTO2 Area revolves around transformation, customer-centricity, and delivering a high-quality experience for the OE’s by being the bridge between the OE and Allianz Technology and ensuring a reliable and future-proof IT services to the OEs.

Target is the continuous improvement of the existing IT delivery model between Allianz Technology and Allianz Partners to meet the financial and qualitative requirements of all parties involved, at the same time echoing ongoing internal transformation at Allianz Partners.

Your mission in the role will be:

• End-to-End Delivery Accountability: The Delivery Manager Finance Applications is responsible for end-to-end accountability for delivery, ensuring that projects and programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Relationship Building: The role involves building a close working relationship with the Global Business Transformation Manager (BTM) and the Allianz Partners counterparty. This includes fostering strong working relationships with Application Bundle Owners and Capability Towers.
• Financial Accountability: The Delivery Manager Finance Applications is accountable for a defined change budget for a specific program or project. This includes managing financial resources effectively and ensuring that the requirements are met.
• Quality Assurance: The role includes ensuring the quality acceptance of related deliverables, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Service Management: The Delivery Manager Finance Applications is responsible for the corresponding managed business services in the operational phase (RUN). This involves overseeing the ongoing management and delivery of services to meet the needs of the business.
• Continuous Improvement: The role involves working towards continuous improvement of the existing IT delivery model between Allianz Technology and Allianz Partners. This includes meeting the financial and qualitative requirements of all parties involved, while echoing ongoing internal transformation at Allianz Partners.
• Transformation and Customer-Centricity: The Delivery Manager Finance Applications plays a key role in driving transformation and customer-centricity within the CTO2 Area, ensuring a high-quality experience for the OEs (Operating Entities) by acting as a bridge between the OEs and Allianz Technology.

What will make you succeed in this position?

• Project and Program Management: Proven experience in end-to-end project and program management, including delivery accountability, resource management, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the BTM, Allianz Partners counterparties, Application Bundle Owners, and Capability Towers.
• Quality Assurance: Experience in quality assurance and acceptance of deliverables, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in the context of IT delivery models, to meet the financial and qualitative requirements of stakeholders.
• Transformation and Customer-Centricity: Understanding of transformation initiatives and customer-centricity, with the ability to drive a high-quality experience for Operating Entities (OEs) by acting as a bridge between OEs and Allianz Technology.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions to complex challenges.
• Industry Experience: Experience within the finance, IT, or insurance industry, with a strong understanding of the business context, IT Service Management (budget, cost, quality) and specific requirements relevant to the role.
