IT Governance & Strategy Manager

Allianz is seeking a skilled IT Governance & Strategy Manager to oversee our IT governance framework and ensure it aligns with our business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, standards, and practices for IT governance. You will lead our IT team, collaborating with other departments to ensure that IT investments are in line with business goals. Additionally, you will manage IT risks, compliance, budgeting, and strategic planning, while staying ahead of technological trends and proactively handling IT risks.

What will you do?

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards;
• Ensure alignment of IT strategies with business strategies;
• Lead IT planning, budgeting, and strategic planning processes;
• Manage IT risks, compliance, and security;
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT solutions;
• Lead and develop a skilled IT Governance team of 9 colleagues in the Benelux

Is this you?

Hard skills:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in IT management, strategy, and governance;
• Extensive experience in IT-related positions, consulting, or IT consultancy (5+ years);
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data security, and compliance;
• Proficiency in IT governance frameworks, strategic IT planning, and risk management.

Soft skills:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills;
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively;
• Proactive approach to handling IT risks;
• Capability to lead a diverse and skilled IT team.
