Job Purpose Role
The Head of Master Insurance Processes is responsible for leading the analysis, design, optimization and management of core insurance processes within Allianz Direct. This role ensures that the insurance processes are streamlined, compliant, and aligned with both business and customer needs, driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategy for master insurance processes (UW/ Quote& Buy; Policy issuing; Policy Cancellation; Policy Admin; Renewal; Claims) across the organization.
- Ensure alignment and fit to software product and insurance products
- Create & Maintain approach and model to analyze; document and monitor master processes
- Define capturing and mapping of indivudal business rules
- Optimize end-to-end insurance processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product, IT, and operational teams to analyze, develop and integrate processes with technology platforms.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement new processes and enhance existing ones, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Be able to challenge and scrutinize business requirements based on economic rationale.
- Ensure processes comply with local and international insurance regulations, embedding these into process design. (Governance by design; privacy by design)
- Oversee and accompany the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Monitor and analyze key process metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support integration with standard group data mining and analysis tools and approaches
- Act as a subject matter expert in insurance processes, providing guidance to senior management and stakeholders accross the Group

Education & Experience
University master degree (in related field)
Top tier strategy consulting experience
10+ years in insurance process management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Language: English
