We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Cyber Threat Specialist (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

 

Part of our distributed team and reporting directly to the Head of Cybersecurity, you will be the regional lead for Cybersecurity for the EU. You will contribute to threat intelligence, act as an escalation point for our 24*7 central security monitoring team and be the lead investigator, responding to cyber-attacks against AllianzGI for the region and global.

 

You will hold global responsibility for our security platforms, ensuring the platform runs efficiently and being domain expert. In addition, you will be the main point of contact for vulnerability management issues, supporting our central Vulnerability Management programme.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support our threat intelligence programme, identifying regional and global threats, representing AllianzGI at regional industry threat intelligence sharing groups as well as providing threat intelligence updates internally
  • Operate as the lead responder, work alongside our central security monitoring team, take alerts and critical issues as required, as well as supporting the global incident and crisis management teams should the severity of the incident require them to be invoked
  • Lead the technical response into cybersecurity incidents at AllianzGI, from initial triage through containment, investigation, remediation, and follow-up
  • Be responsible for our security platforms (responsibility for security platforms is shared between regional leads)
  • Act as the main contact for our cyber threat management programme for day-to-day activities and reporting in the region
  • Support the development and improvement of the global cyber threat management programme (including processes and procedures), reflecting global/regional/local business needs with special emphasis to end-to-end process coverage including 3rd parties (e.g., outsourcing partners)

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study
  • Specific industry qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) is a plus
  • Ideally 5 years cyber threat management experience is required
  • Experience with incident response and the Microsoft security suite (Sentinel, Defender, Azure Identity Protection) is necessary
  • Deep technical expertise and relevant experience in cyber threat management (threat intelligence, security monitoring, incident/crisis management, vulnerability management and security engineering), with the ability to run consistent global operations across these areas
  • Hands-on experience responding to incidents, including use of various response and investigation tools across Mobile, Windows, Linux, Network and Cloud platforms (specifically Microsoft 365 and Azure)
  • Relevant experience implementing and managing security platforms, such as SIEM, DLP, IPS/IDS, WAF, EDR, etc.
  • Proven track record in working with diverse global teams, as well as good communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with relevant business partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators), as well as a broad knowledge of financial services and cybersecurity-related regulations
  • Select and work closely with external cybersecurity partners (e.g. forensic specialists) as is required to supplement/complement internal capabilities as well as the identification and selection of supporting security technologies
  • Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills and ability to develop a network in a short amount of time
  • Proficient in English required, additional language skills are a plus
