The IF Infrastructure & Security IT Function Controlling is responsible for controlling of IF function (business area) global and related local international locations business with focus on steering the P/L (profit & loss), analyzing financial results, advising and challenging the business and recommending the management regarding financial decisions. 
 

What role will you play?  

  • You will create and provide financial analysis, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly base) 

  • You will monitor actuals vs. plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and tracks ongoing progress of e.g. major project initiatives 

  • You will be responsible for controlling of overall Infrastructure and Security Services with focus on Revenues/internal Account management: Internal Service Charges (ISC) between AZ Tech internal entities in Germany, Intercompany Charges (ICC, between AZ Technology entities in different international locations) and overall External Charge 

  • You will be part of the global co-operation and support to all AZ Technology functions and locations of all ISC/ICC topics (for planning, forecasting and actuals analysis) 

  • You will be involved in the content steering and transparency of the Allianz Technology IF budget 

  • You will be self-responsible for the implementation of analysis and cooperation in projects, improvement of existing controlling processes and reporting especially with focus on (internal) revenue 

  • You will be responsible for reporting with focus on revenues, and will be a key partner of the business by providing financial transparency and guidance to the management team regarding financial decisions with focus on internal revenue streams 
     

Requirements  

  • Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or related area 

  • Possessing understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations 

  • Relevant work experience e.g. in accounting, controlling, account management etc. 5-10 years 

  • Possessing project management and process management knowledge and experience 

  • Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques 

  • Problem-solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information 

  • Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) in both business and technical context
