Job Purpose/Role
Audit is the home for those who dare to be curious, demonstrate integrity, and impact change within the organization. Allianz Technology Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. Allianz Technology Internal Audit supports Allianz Technology to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. The Audit department fulfills this role, in line with the steady evolution of Allianz Technology as the global service provider for Allianz Group and its companies. It does this by providing assurance of Allianz Technology and its affiliates.


Key Responsibilities
Prepare audit reports and recommendations on the results of audits
Advise projects and other units on questions regarding internal control system
Assignments of the IT auditor include identifying and evaluating IT related risk, and executing routine to complex audit program steps. The IT Auditor conducts controls and process testing, documents working papers, writes audit reports, supports closing meetings
The IT Auditor verifies that recommendations were implemented in the follow-up process. Technical IT skills, as well as, ethical characteristics are fundamental to audit success
An IT auditor should bring an understanding of technical IT topics as well as agility and a commitment to continuous learning. Skills should include the ability to understand IT infrastructure general controls along with researching specific system related controls and best practices
Audit Practice:
- Support the completion of the audit plan
- Verify that IT security, controls, processes, policies and procedures are aligned with IT standards and
requirements for data protection, business continuity, IT service continuity and disaster recovery
- Contribute in identifying risk-based control weaknesses and defining actionable recommendations
- Maintain the audit documentation and support audit report writing
- Support improvements of workflows, processes, IT standards and documentation requirements
- Follow up on suggested measures


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Relevant work experience in information security, IT systems administration and governance, IT Risk and controls, or other technical IT experience
Expertise in business continuity management (BCM), IT architecture and technical platforms
Applying analytical thinking, root cause analysis, methodological and conceptual as well as consulting skills
Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
Initial professional experience in internal/external audit is an advantage
Business know how within other functions, regions and entities of Allianz Group is beneficial
University degree in economics , business administration, information technology/computer sciences or equivalent
Talent to understand auditee’s perspective and ability to listen
Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive and committed working style
Ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures
Willingness to travel
Sound and comprehensive communications skills to exchange information
Ability to cooperate efficiently with clients and different departments as well as willingness to support new team members
