The purpose of Allianz is to secure our clients future. To do that and deliver value for all stakeholders we have to understand how humans act and decide. That is what we do in our Global Behavioral Economics team. We are experts in psychology, behavioral / decision science, consumer behavior, and quantitative methods. But above all we are practitioners who work with our clients within Allianz Group to design, test, and roll-out scalable novel solutions that deliver behavior change.  


In this exciting role you lead behavioral economics projects with a focus on marketing and pricing end-to-end. You will work closely with different teams across the Allianz Group and make changes to product and marketing that are informed by behavioral economics. In addition, you use your passion and entrepreneurial spirit to bring our team via both strategic and tactical initiatives. Doing that, you strive for exceptional performance and measurable impact.


You can do that (tasks)

  • Lead and run behavioral economics projects with a focus on marketing and pricing across various geographies that deliver measurable business impact
  • Understand human behavior, develop and test behavioral science interventions, and quantify their impact with applied scientific methods
  • Collaborate with your clients to roll-out your proven interventions and drive their global scaling in partnership with the growth manager
  • Use your entrepreneurial drive to bring our "startup" forward, e.g., in business development or improvement of our way of working
  • Lead and train junior team members
  • Liaise with top management across Allianz Group


You bring that with you

  • Advanced degree in behavioral marketing, consumer behavior, pricing or related behavioral science field (PhD strongly preferred) with very good grades
  • Several years' full-time experience in applying behavioral insights to products, processes, services, communications or pricing in a business setting; consulting experience is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to manage high workload, multiple concurrent assignments and junior team members in a timely manner
  • Experience in business experiments and qualitative as well as quantitative research methods
  • Engaging storyteller and communicator with excellent influencing-, and presentation skills, experience in managing various senior stakeholders, and entrepreneurial personality
  • Fluent in English, other major international languages are advantageous
