We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented working student (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Munich office.

In this role you will be assisting in the execution and monitoring of private equity-led mid-market debt transactions in the DACH, Benelux, and Nordics regions as Allianz Global Investors continues to expand its existing European Private Credit offering across Europe.

What you do:

• Performance monitoring of existing investments, including review of monthly financial statements
• Conduct market research, including sector insights and comparable transactions
• Preparation of marketing materials, including for pitching and fund-raising activity
• Opportunity to also support in:
  • Analyzing individual companies, business models and markets, as well as review of due diligence reports
  • Financial modelling and sensitivity analyses
  • Preparing investment committee materials and company profiles

What you bring:

• Student of Business Administration or related field at Master level or advanced level in Bachelor program (you must be enrolled)
• Excellent academic achievements
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven interest in financial markets, private equity business and M&A
• Ability to work diligently under time pressure
• Strong team ethics
• Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
• Proficiency in English - written and spoken is essential whilst German is highly beneficial
• Ideally, previous internship(s) in investment banking, leveraged finance, M&A, corporate finance or at a private debt/direct lending fund
