Highlights:

 

Distribution & Network Management within Allianz Global Benefits  (AGB) is in charge of development and steering of the relationships with Network Insurers as the core basis for the AGB Network, which is acting in the Corporate Protection, Pension & Asset Management segment to serve Multinational Clients within the Employee Benefits (EB) space.
The role of the (Senior) Global Distribution & Network Manager is to execute the AGB network strategy in his/her allocated countries/regions, promote and facilitate local capabilities in order to achieve excellence in delivering global EB programs and drive  joint distribution initiatives with Network Insurers in collaboration with Regional Sales Directors within AGB.
The colleague will be based in Stuttgart or Munich.

 

Tasks:

 

  • Management and oversight of the strategic and operational relationship with allocated Network Insurers (including contacts and processes). 
  • Development of and execution on the network strategy in respect of geographical scope and content including the definition of the value proposition for the Network Insurers
  • Project management of the whole „quality-cycle“ of a Network Insurer (from due diligence, onboarding, regular KPI reviews and if required exit), including monitoring of ongoing relationship, steering of related processes and common target achievement.
  • Establishing knowledge of the local UW/Pricing methodologies, products and reinsurance structures
  • Leveraging the marketing tools to promote local capabilities, increase market visibility and brand awareness in order to support the value proposition for allocated countries.
  • Development and delivery of trainings to Network Insurers 
  • Support in preparation of related presentations and decision papers for senior management.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Higher education degree in business administration, economics or a similar qualification
  • Ideally 3-5 years relevant job experience in group life and or health insurance business
  • Knowledge of local Employee Benefits business, products, pricing/UW methodologies as an advantage. Understanding of international Employee Benefits Solutions is an asset.
  • Experience in reinsurance business
  • Ability to translate global needs into local actionable steps adapted to local circumstances (hands-on), while keeping global frame in mind 
  • Fluent in English; German, French and other languages as an advantage
  • Advanced relationship management skills and proven analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and independently while also being team-minded
  • Strong ability to work with PowerPoint and deliver precise, clear and concise verbal and written messages and related layout to a wide array of recipients (from operational to C-levels)
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong entrepreneurial thinking, who can deliver clear results to multiple stakeholders and can bring the organization to the next level.
