DESCRIPTION

Position: Real Estate – Commercial Mortgage Investments – Working Student Program

Location: Los Angeles Office

QUALIFICATIONS

- Candidate must be pursuing a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Real Estate

- Real estate focused course completion required

- Strong oral and written communications skills

- Strong analytical/quantitative skills

- Proficient in Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist the various debt origination regions in underwriting and analyzing potential investment opportunities throughout the U.S. using Excel and/or ARGUS

- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data

- Review property operating statements, rent rolls / leases and cash flows for multifamily, industrial, office and retail assets

- Assist in preparing weekly deal presentations and /or investment committee memorandums
