We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking Intern (m/f/d) for six months in our Model Valuation Team. This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Valuation of derivatives and illiquid structured financial instruments applying advanced pricing tools based on widely accepted and appropriate valuation technique(s)
  • Analysis of issue documentation of structured fixed income assets as well as their set up in the internal pricing engine. Running review and Life Cycle Management (e.g. cash flow adjustments, rating migrations, etc.)
  • Analysis and set-up of appropriate yield and default curves using internal and external market data
  • Automatization of the internal valuation processes using programming languages like VBA, Python and SQL

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Enrolled student in advanced semester of Bachelor's or Master's degree with a financial, quantitative and/or IT background
  • Good spoken and written English, good knowledge of German
  • Programming skills with practical experience in one or more of VBA, SQL, Python or other object-oriented language
  • First experience with derivative and non-derivative pricing techniques would be a plus
  • The ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment and to think out of the box
  • High commitment, motivation, reliability and willingness to take on responsibility
