As a Senior Business Consultant you’ll be responsible for driving insights and accountability in business investments and operational profit across the 3 countries and 9 Value Chains. You’ll do this by reviewing complex financial data to help drive strategic decision making and engage in a variety of challenging projects. One of the current key projects is supporting the business moving from traditional waterfall reporting to agile Value Chains and self-steering teams. The goal is to respect local market needs whilst challenging the teams to drive higher operational harmonization and leaner models to market.

 

What will you do?

  • Shape and steer the Benelux Strategy through robust analyses of market- and business performance, trend analysis and identification of business opportunities;                            
  • Support the annual Group Strategy cycle (Strategic Dialogue), together with business and Finance teams;                                                                                                              
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and deep dives on specific strategic topics to advise Benelux Board and senior management;                                                                                                       
  • Drive value initiatives and establish mechanisms to measure delivered value throughout the life of strategic initiatives;
  • Report on overall COO performance, analyze variance (budgeted costs versus actual costs) and support budget decision making.

Is this you?

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial controlling, financial planning & analysis or performance management;
  • Experience in creating and managing complex financial/business case cost estimation and forecasting;
  • Experience with complex data analysis, report creation, and providing recommendations to management, including; cost reduction measures, revenue generation ideas and ways to streamline operations or increase customer satisfaction;
  • Experience in coordinating projects across business units to facilitate decision making;
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management;
  • Ability to turnaround management request quickly by (mobilizing colleagues to support with) retrieving data and creating clear and crisp analysis ready for decision making.
