Zac's journey from agency life to Allianz

While Zac was initially uncertain about his move into the corporate world, he quickly realised that working at Allianz was a very different experience.

Making the shift

Zac's career began at a boutique marketing agency, where he spent over a decade honing his skills in the ever-changing digital design space. Starting as a graphic designer, he transitioned to digital design and user experience (UX), eventually leading the agency’s entire creative team.

As a parent of young children, Zac decided to seek the kind of career stability that isn't guaranteed in the sometimes-fickle world of agency life. To his surprise, Zac's transition to corporate work opened doors to a more holistic approach to customer solutions.

“I now have the privilege of overseeing the entire customer journey, from inception to completion,” Zac shares. “This shift has enabled me to proactively identify areas for improvement, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. In contrast to the rush to complete tasks in an agency, the focus at Allianz is on enhancing the customer experience through continuous iteration and optimisation.”
