Belonging – building a sense of acceptance, identity and ensuring everyone feels like a valuable and valued member of the Allianz family

A sense of belonging comes from putting our people front and centre, listening to their views and above all else valuing their contribution to make Allianz a great place to work. 

To better support our focus on belonging, we have developed a framework which provides a blueprint for everyone to contribute to and make a positive impact on our collective culture.

The #Belong framework is a leader-led, people-centric approach to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. It incorporates an approach which considers our people’s experiences, needs and aspirations, whilst focusing on the actions and behaviours that imbed inclusion into everything that we do.

Every person at Allianz plays a role in setting the tone of belonging.

Our approach to diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging

At the centre of our approach is a focus on care and belonging.  We recognise that when we take care of the individual, we take care of the collective.

Our program of work focuses on the areas of gender equity, cultural diversity, LGBTI+ inclusion, disability and accessibility, reconciliation and age and generation, as well as the points at which they intersect. Our focus areas are enveloped by our commitment to equity and inclusion, which is embedded into everything we do.

Allianz Employee Networks

Our employee networks give our people a sense of community and the chance to network with colleagues based on a shared identity or experience, as well as with their friends and allies. They are an important partner for raising awareness, advocating change and setting our diversity and inclusion agenda.
