 About the Role

We have various exciting opportunities within our family of talented people for both experienced and trainee Motor & Casualty Claims Investigators.  The positions will be home/field based working as part of a regional team and be supported as part of the UK wide Allianz Claims Investigation team covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.    You will be working both in the field and from home investigating predominantly bodily injury general insurance claims dealing with legal liability and indemnity and recommending the best course of action for efficient and effective claims settlement to ensure the customers receive outstanding customer service, in line with the Claims business objectives and to personally contribute to the growth of the business.

 

The roles will be covering the following areas:

1 position will cover - Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, North Wiltshire and North London and surrounding areas as required.

1 position will cover - South East (central london and or home counties bordering the M25)  

 

About You

You will have a background in liability claims handling, with either a general insurer, loss adjuster or legal firm.

You will have good knowledge of General Insurance end to end processes and products with at least 3 years’ experience of handling Casualty (EL, PL, Products) and Motor (inc. bodily injury and third party property damage) claims.

Previous field investigation experience is preferable but not essential.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and when required have the ability to Influence, negotiate and deliver great customer experience and outcomes. 

You will have good organisational skills with the ability to control effective diary management and ability to manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly. You will be PC literate with knowledge of Windows 10, MS Office 2016 and preferably ACII qualified or progression towards

You will need a Driving Licence to be able to complete this role as home and field based working. 

 

The Details

You will be responsible for investigating, reporting on and negotiating motor and casualty claims, including non-complex third-party property damage, as required by the Claims Handling Centres, within agreed authority levels in accordance with Company and Regulatory requirements ensuring a high standard of customer service. You will investigate claims both in the field and through your use of desktop investigation skills.
