The Global Head of Health Data Analytics & Operations Reporting - Allianz Partners Health determines the long-term strategic goals for Operational analytics and reporting. The incumbent shall ensure business growth and enhance operational decision making through directing and managing the flow of operational data activities and ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organization’s strategy, working closely with the Regional Head of Operations and the other Operations functional leaders
This role has overall responsibility to plan, direct and manage the data reporting across the Operations function for Allianz Partners Health with responsibility for report design & development, communication strategies, database management, projects as well as data tool management and implementation. This is a strategic role, with data analytics and insights required across all global Health functions in all business lines and markets.
The Incumbent will report to the Global Head of Operations - Health and will be a member of the Health Operations Global Leadership team.
What you do
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Define, develop, and execute the data governance and delivery to ensure the management teams are equipped with the necessary data to make strategic decisions.
• Ultimately responsible for the function’s processes, performance, budget and FTE requirements
• Ensure all data points and reports are available through the group data repository, Celonis.
• Analytics and insight reporting will include, but not limited to:
External payer reporting,
Client performance reporting,
Inflation impact reporting,
Business spend trending
Support on process or change impacts, e.g. Further Information Request savings pre- and post-changes.
• Develop, manage and report the KPIs for Health, across all business lines (IPMI, PMI, TPA & Student) and markets.
• Design and enhance current operational dashboards.
• Ultimately responsible for the global function’s processes, productivity, budget and FTE requirements
• Increase the effectiveness of the incumbent team by recognising opportunities for new approaches.
• Analyse customer data and trends to support the Operations functions in developing scalable and flexible best practice solutions for client interaction and services across all locations.
• Be a catalyst for change: influence, lead and motivate a bright and driven team to enhance their quality and productivity output by implementing relevant business process change.
• Engage with and influence management colleagues in Allianz Partners and the regional offices to ensure data output delivers maximum benefit and is aligned to Health strategic objectives.
• Address the needs of the wider stakeholders in the company, through ongoing communication and interaction.
• Provide timely and adequate management reporting to ensure that Operations functions have the tools available to show performance is in line with the operating plan.
• Drive and proactively monitor a consistent and coherent global data governance framework.
• Promote close and positive cooperation with other functions, especially Actuarial, Pricing and Finance.
• Continually benchmark best in class standards for data management & reporting and drive change programmes to achieve these standards.
• Promote and reinforce the Allianz Partners values of being responsible, connected, excellent and caring through a process of leading by example.
• Support the development of key successors by selecting talented individuals and providing feedback that addresses skills gaps, and coach the team in learning new capabilities.

What you bring
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:
Professional Experience
• Educated at least to 3rd level degree level, Masters preferred
• At least five years of relevant commercial experience, including leading a complex, technical department.
• While experience of the health TPA / international private medical insurance market would be an advantage, neither is a prerequisite. Of most importance is data skillset and prior experience of leading a diverse data function.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to identify key talent, coach, develop talent, engage employees and an ability to hold employees and teams accountable and invested in their results.
• Fully effective analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in operations or strategy consulting/project management.
Behavioral and Technical Experience
• Leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and deepen a high performance culture.
• Change advocacy and management, and the ability to develop capability and lead a team with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Results orientation.
• Customer focus, in line with the ethos of the company.
