At Allianz, we are pioneering the integration of generative AI (GenAI) to support the transformation of the insurance industry. When the Russian invasion began, our colleagues Dr. Nadja Kroha and Robin K were determined to support the people of Ukraine. They set off for Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, to prepare food parcels for the soldiers on the front line. Their experience as volunteers deeply connected them to the local community, and so one visit turned into many: “Parting with these people felt wrong, so we immediately decided to return to Ukraine,” says Robin. Allianz recently committed to clean our oceans and coasts, assist biodiversity conservation and support sustainable fishing practices by partnering with international marine conservation organization “Sea Shepherd Global“. The partnership covers Italian coastal areas in the Mediterranean Sea. Four Allianz companies, AZ SE, AZ Technology, AZ Services and AZ Italy provided the funding for the ship "Sea Eagle" and its crew. As part of the partnership, Allianz sponsored the ship “Sea Eagle” over a two week period to clear the Italian Mediterranean of illegal fishing nets. Many of our colleagues joined the crew and got stuck in with maintaining and undocking the ship, as well as disengaging and removing hundreds of the illegal fishing traps. #Allianz #MarineConservation #Conservation #SeaShepherdGlobal #Biodiversity

Heavy rain and flooding have caused major damage in parts of southern Germany over the past few days. To support the people affected, Allianz is now donating one million euros to the local fire departments, rescue organizations, and technical aid services. We are also matching employee and representative donations to the Bavarian Red Cross up to a total of 500,000 euros. Beyond that, extended special damage units and our Allianz agencies are providing support on site. #Flooding #Allianz

At Allianz Technology, we believe in empowering future generations. Continuing our commitment to social responsibility, our colleagues at Allianz Technology Thailand recently organized an art workshop for the children at SOS Children's Village, a non-profit organization that provides a loving home environment for children who have lost parental care. This workshop aimed to nurture children's creativity and provide a platform for self-expression. Our Allianz Technology Thailand volunteers thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the children and witnessing their artistic talents blossom.
