The Allianz Technology SE branch office in Wallisellen coordinates all software procurement activities from category strategy development to contract management with the aim of delivering value for Allianz Group worldwide. The Global Software Procurement Team in Zurich (Wallisellen) is the key contact for all strategic software-related procurement activities of the Allianz Group worldwide. This highly professional and international team identifies opportunities in global supply markets while ensuring internal alignment with stakeholders worldwide to support business objectives.
Leading global negotiations for software contracts with significant volumes, recommending strategic direction to maximize growth opportunities and establishing relationships with more than 30 operating entities across the globe is our daily business. Are you ready to face this challenge?
What you do
• Conduct market analysis, predict future trends and design a category strategy together with the global procurement leadership and major business stakeholders. Facilitate implementation of the approved sourcing strategies
• Set up tenders and lead processes for Group-wide contracts in alignment with internal stakeholders e.g. Finance, Legal and key Business Owners from global entities
• Coordinate negotiations not only for commercial terms but also legal language to mitigate future risks and to secure full flexibility on an international strategic level
• Lead the planning and execution of demand collection at global level incl. active development and management of a supplier portfolio
• Build trustful relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders and acting as Business Partner to drive transformation agenda
• Implement standards and optimize processes in the area of IT software licenses
• Manage and guide operational activities along the value chain of the procurement process (such as the use of the procurement toolkit, operational procurement delivery, catalogue management, contract management), and leverage collaboration tools in the O365 environment
What you bring
• University degree in business economics, IT or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with a proven track record in Infrastructure Software Procurement
• Very good knowledge of software contract law (e.g. license metrics, renewal clauses)
• Excellent knowledge of different negotiation methods and experiences in the independent conduct of negotiations. Previous experiences with complex Software deals, e.g. Oracle preferred
• Good knowledge of global demand collection / demand validation and consolidation process for Software licenses
• Fluent in English - German or other language skills are an advantage
• Proven experiences in working within a globally operating group
• Real team player with high commitment who takes ownership and acts proactively
