Head of IT department

What will you do:

• Organization and management of the department's work, responsibility for execution and quality of the completed work, and planning and management of the department's human resources
• Responsibility for the Company's IT strategy in accordance with the Group IT strategy and the local organization's business strategy through management of the Company's IT architecture and projects
• Contribution to achieving the Company's business results by managing and maintaining the information and communication system
• Organization of the department's tasks according to the specific circumstances and business requirements in the domains of Business Analysis (business-application analysis of user needs) and the Project Office (management of the Company's project portfolio)
• Reporting to the Company's Board of Management and Allianz Group in the areas of work of the department
• Participation in planning and reporting concerning the business area of the organizational unit and managing the budget within the planned limits
• Collaboration with external partners and monitoring of SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Ensuring a high level of data security and compliance with relevant laws and standards
• Encouraging, guiding, motivating, developing and educating team members

What you bring:

• University degree in electronics, computer science, and/or economics
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the same or similar positions
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, software solutions, and technological trends
• Proactivity, openness to change, flexibility, and the ability to lead others
• Experience in leading and motivating teams
• Ability for strategic thinking and decision-making in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and at the Group level
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Active use of the English language in speaking and writing
