The role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical claims management advice and collaborative consultation within a team, to ensure prompt and compliant management of psychological and mental health claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with relevant legislative, regulatory and Allianz requirements.
You'll be responsible for
- Working with Managers, Case Managers, and other Technical Specialists to ensure proactive and effective management of claims and advocate the use of tailored strategies to manage return to work barriers as required to progress the claim towards timely finalisation.
- Providing technical claims management advice in accordance with legislative requirements while ensuring customer service standards are maintained and responsibility taken for prompt resolution of issues/complaints.
- Assisting Managers as required, in identifying and implementing new ideas, which create value for customers, staff and/or Allianz.
- Contributing to the achievement of business targets and participate in departmental projects, as required.
About you
- You will have technical experience and strategic thinking to drive quality claims outcomes and positive customer experiences.
- You have ability to plan and prioritise effectively to manage competing resources and demands, and display excellent problem-solving and decision making skills.
- You have the ability to recognise, avoid, manage, and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution in accordance with organisational processes.
- You pay high attention to detail and have the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
- You exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
- TMF/Insurance for NSW experience particularly with management of liability for psychological and mental health claims highly regarded
