AUDIT TEAM MEMBER - Investigation

What do we expect you to bring?

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business Administration, Forensic Accounting, Economics, Law or any other related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience of relevant experience in the following areas: investigations, fraud or any related field (experience relating to the investigation of extensive, complex, detailed, and confidential investigations is desirable).
• Ability to contextualize and provide meaning to an investigation.
• Experienced in interrogation and interviewing techniques.
• Ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and filter large quantities of information.
• Capability to build collaborative working relationships and ability to work in virtual, international, and complex team environments.
• Preferably superior problem solving and excellent oral/written communication skills,,
• Advanced level of written and verbal English and Turkish skills,
• CFE, CIA certification will be a plus.

How can you make an impact?

• Upon receiving allegations or suspicions of fraud, conduct an initial assessment to determine the credibility and seriousness of the allegations.
• Assign experienced investigators or a dedicated investigation team to conduct a formal investigation into the allegations.
• Conduct objective, fair, thorough, and unbiased investigations into allegations of fraud involving employees.
• Review and research evidence/documents to analyze the overall fact pattern of claims and synthesizing data into professional reports with recommendations.
• Prepare and coordinate field assignments to obtain relevant evidence and information, such as conducting interviews, surveillance, or site visits.
• Synthesize gathered data and evidence into a professional report, presenting findings, analysis, and recommendations.
• Manage and prioritize a large and varied caseload effectively and efficiently to achieve positive results.
• Utilize case management software to track progress, deadlines, and key milestones in each investigation.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members involved in investigations to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present investigation results to relevant committees (i.e. Integrity, Disciplinary and/or Audit Committees)
