We are seeking a Team Manager Claims (Workers Compensation based in our Perth office to provide structured team leadership, and support  business objectives to ensure service levels, customer expectations and regulatory obligations are met.

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of individuals including those roles at the top level of the Case Manager Framework
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies to achieve appropriate outcomes as required within the business, ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements
  • Ensure customer expectations and business objectives are met by maximising team performance through effective management, coordination of duties, maintenance of standards and continuous improvement of business process
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and scope

 Important to your success:

  • Experience empowering people to realise their highest potential by recognising and developing individual and team performance and building talent pipelines to safeguard current and future organisational needs.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation
  • Ability to manage client expectations to ensure matters are appropriately triaged and dealt with in accordance with an agreed timeline and scope.
  • Ability to recognise, avert, manage and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution in accordance with organisational processes.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
