The European Head of Investment Advisory Compliance is seeking a working student (for french candidates, this means a student in an alternance program) to join the team for up to one year.  The working student will be primarily responsible for assisting in the execution of compliance monitoring of market abuse, fair allocations, and best execution, the development of desktop procedures, assisting in the coordination of audits, and assisting in ad hoc compliance projects.  

The role will be based in Paris for 12 months but can be extended up to 24 months. The selected person should be able to start no later than the first week of September.

What you will do

•    Assisting in the execution of compliance monitoring of market abuse, fair allocations, and best execution
•    Assisting in the coordination of audits
•    Assisting in other compliance projects
•    Assist in identifying team needs in terms of data, collaborating with the AGI Data Specialists team
•    Development and review of policies and procedures

What you bring

•    Prior university degree or enrolled in university program majoring in Finance, Economics, Financial Law, Compliance, Risk or Audit. 
•    English fluent
•    Knowledge of financial regulations
•    Prior compliance, risk, audit, portfolio management or trading experience
•    Experience with Bloomberg
•    Experience with compliance monitoring tools
•    Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI
