We are looking for a Senior Manager MidCorp Portfolio Steering in CTO Global Portfolio and Accumulation Steering (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Your Team 
Our team is driving the implementation of a data driven cross-LoB portfolio steering framework across AZ Commercial that is regularly adjusted to reflect recent developments. Collaboration is key to us both in our interactions with the product owners to optimize our profitability as well as within our team. We are an international and diverse team located in Munich and Bucharest supporting each other.

The Impact You Will Have 
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Portfolio Steering and Monitoring you will focus on steering and driving the transformation projects to implement the AZ Commercial portfolio steering framework and respective processes. You will work in close cooperation with the regional MidCorp portfolio steering teams to establish consistent TEX standards across AZ Commercial that are the basis for integrated analytics and AZ Commercial portfolio optimization activities. Further focus will be on generating transparency on market performance of portfolios by leveraging external data.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Steer and drive the transformation agenda for Allianz Commercial portfolio steering activities to implement the Allianz Commercial portfolio steering cycle and respective processes
• Create transparency on roadmap status and drive execution of deliveries
• Ensure strategic alignment across Allianz Commercial re portfolio steering ambition by collaborating with the Senior Management level to help shape key focus topics to successfully drive the transformation
• Establish TEX standards for Allianz Commercial portfolio steering framework which includes a consistent KPI framework and globally aligned segmentation views that are the basis for integrated analytics and Allianz Commercial portfolio optimization activities
• Generate transparency on market performance by leveraging external data
• Enable constant alignment between business and technical capabilities by working collaboratively with all involved teams, regional portfolio steering teams, Data Office, Pricing, Finance functions, etc.
• Build an active Allianz Commercial portfolio steering community across the regions, managing involved stakeholders and drive best practice sharing

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, economics, science, or engineering
• Several years of insurance industry experience spanning multiple areas and preferably incl. technical UW and/or actuarial experience
• Ability to express ideas and messages clearly in respect to the audience / level of management, both written and verbally  
• Ability to “sell” an improvised or prepared audience a winning story
• Strong project and change management experience, including stakeholder management and communication skills in change environment
• Willingness and ability to effectively work with various stakeholders when gathering requirements, delivering solutions, and eliciting suggestions and feedback
• Successful track record of leadership of direct teams or complex matrix environments
• Relevant experience of working internationally with strong ability for cross border adaption
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to consistently revise approach in response to new information
• Strong analytical and adaptive problem-solving skills, breaking down complex subjects into manageable pieces, determine status quo as well as course of action
• Strong emotional intelligence
• English: Fluent (able to negotiate)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
