What you will do

  • Manages and executes Audits from planning to follow-up and closure, in accordance with Allianz Global Audit process and IIA Standards
  • Ensures meeting defined quality and KPIs for his/her audit of responsibility in compliance with audit policies, standards, functional rules as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Reviews working papers, writes audit reports, works with IT professionals to ensure the complexities of the various IT components are understood and adequately secured using appropriately tools and technologies.
  • Represents the key point of contact for Auditees and relevant stakeholders, managing regular communication, reporting and escalations.
  • Conducts controls and process testing throughout the technology stack including a variety of IT architecture, operating systems, infrastructure, servers, and data solutions.
  • Assignments of the IT auditor include identifying and evaluating IT related risk within operating systems such as mainframes, windows servers, networks, and executing routine to complex audit program steps.
  • Interacts closely with IT system control owners and acts as an advisory for reducing risk, setting up adequate IT security controls, and provides feedback on new technologies.
  • Advises project and other unit owners regarding internal control system, system security and appropriate data management.
  • Contributes to the completion of the audit plan by verifying that IT security, controls, processes, policies, and procedures are aligned with IT standards and requirements for system security, data protection, business continuity, IT service continuity and disaster recovery
  • Contributes to identifying risk-based control weaknesses and defining actionable recommendations for various systems and infrastructure
  • Supports improvements of security, data integrity, workflows, processes, IT standards and documentation requirements
  • Verifies and approves that the Audit’s suggested measures were accomplished (follow up)
  • Follow up on suggested measures

 

What you bring

 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in technical IT activities, e.g. IT (security) operations, system administration and implementation, access management, database management, and architecture support.
  • Expertise in a variety of IT architecture and technical platforms, IT risk and controls, business continuity management (BCM). 
  • Operating systems and networking knowledge is required along with an understanding of IT trends such as Big Data, IoT, Cloud, and block chain

 

 

 

You have

  • Applying analytical thinking, root cause analysis, methodological and conceptual as well as consulting skills
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written), German is a plus
  • Initial professional experience in internal/external audit is an advantage
  • Business know how within other functions, regions and entities of Allianz Group is beneficial
  • University degree in economics, business administration, information technology/computer sciences or equivalent
  • Talent to understand auditee’s perspective and ability to listen
  • Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive and committed working style
  • Ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures
  • Willingness to minimum travel
  • Sound and comprehensive communications skills to exchange information
  • Agility and commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to cooperate efficiently with clients and different departments as well as willingness to support new team members
